TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT
Cleaners can choose to come on as a CONTRACTOR or EMPLOYEE. Both contractors and employees MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION and will be equally considered for new and regular cleans, however there are benefits and requirements for both:

employees
Becoming an EMPLOYEE is for new cleaners who are looking for a regular part or full time job. Employees will generally be given regular cleans and also have the benefit of AEC withholding taxes for them (which they must file at the end of the year).

contractors
Becoming a CONTRACTOR for AEC is like building your own cleaning business within the company. Contractors have experience working as cleaners and are seeking the structure of a bigger company as they grow their clientele and business skills. AEC allows contractors to bring on and distribute pay to their own cleaning assistant(s). Remember taxes are not withheld for contractors. AEC will give you a 1099 form which you must submit to the IRS and pay the appropriate taxes.

Los contratistas tienen experiencia trabajando como limpiadores y buscan la estructura de una empresa más grande a medida que aumentan su clientela y sus habilidades comerciales.
